I’m proud to announce that, through my company Technology and Society, my wife Ginny and I will sponsor women’s football club Atlético London for the 2025/26 season. This is our fourth time around with the club.
New seasons bring new hope, this time with a rebrand and the goal of bouncing straight back up to the National League from the Eastern Region Women’s Football League. Offseason continuity we lacked last time around led to successful recruiting, development, and preseason preparation. Those steps bode well for our performance.
Atlético London’s makeup mirrors the diverse nature of East London, with players from all backgrounds choosing to play with us even though they drew significant interest from higher-placed clubs. It’s a testament to the organization that we were able to retain and attract this level of talent.
In addition to our shirt sponsorship, Atléti play their home matches at The techsoc.com Stadium in Ilford. We secured the naming rights to the ground from Redbridge FC, the leaseholders of the former Oakside Stadium.
Thanks to the club, backroom staff, and players for welcoming us back. We’ll be in the UK for several early-season matches and can’t wait to see the club in action.
We are Atlético London.
